Camp 2 probably varies from expedition to expedition: established on a very small plateau, probably in an area that the guides have determined is not very prone to receiving (or becoming) an avalanche. There are some visible rock outcrops close by that seem to offer a degree of stability. From here you have a 200 degree view of the world below, which is a desert, crossed by temporary glacier-melt rivers.
